How to see status of all disk arrays on HP Proliant Servers ?

Today in this article, we will see how to check the status of all disks on a HP Proliant server.

We will check it out both on server CLI and on its ILO.

1. Check the drive status on server using hpacucli utility.

root@ngelinux# hpacucli

=> ctrl all show config

      physicaldrive 6I:1:2 (port 6I:box 1:bay 2, SAS, 146 GB, OK)
      physicaldrive 6I:1:3 (port 6I:box 1:bay 3, SAS, 146 GB, OK)
      physicaldrive 6I:1:4 (port 6I:box 1:bay 4, SAS, 146 GB, OK, spare)

2. Take ILO console of the server and check Summary.

3. Now check drive status inside drives tab.
