Stop htop from hiding the full command line when things get cramped

🧩 The Challenge

Dealing with Java apps or massive container orchestrators is a nightmare when htop truncates the command line. You end up staring at a wall of arguments and can’t actually see which config file or port the process is using.

💡 The Fix

Flip the tree view to get some breathing room and use the scrollable detail view to see everything. It keeps your interface clean while letting you peek behind the curtain when you need the full path.

Press F5 to enable tree view, then use the arrow keys to highlight the process and press F8 to toggle the process tree until the full command string is visible in the pane.

⚙️ Why It Works

Setting the tree view expands the visual hierarchy, which forces the UI to prioritize displaying the full command string in the primary view rather than chopping it off at the edge of the terminal.
