Stop mounting physical volumes blindly when you can’t find your storage

Skip the headache of guessing dev names and use the tree view to see exactly how your physical drives map to your mount points. It saves you from formatting the wrong partition when you’re tired and rushing.

lsblk -o NAME,SIZE,TYPE,MOUNTPOINT,UUID

Adding the UUID column prevents those classic disasters where you mount a drive that looks identical to a disk you already have attached. Viewing the tree structure immediately clarifies the hierarchy of partitions and logical volumes.
