Today we will see how to republish a repository from hammer CLI i.e. the command provided in Redhat Satellite 6.5.
There are two steps involved to get the content view id and then publish it.
1. Get Content View Id
[root@ngelinux007 x86_64]# hammer content-view list | grep -i 08July2020 7 | CV RHEL Server 6.10 08July2020 | CV_RHEL_Server_6_10_08July2020 | | 2020/12/21 12:39:33 | 207, 208, 6, 880, 5, 945
2. Republish repository data
[root@ngelinux007 x86_64]# hammer content-view version republish-repositories --content-view-id 7 --version 5.0 [............................................................... ] [50%]
