Stop scrolling past garbage logs in journalctl

Trying to hunt down a specific crash in a busy service is a nightmare when your terminal is flooded with debug noise from three other unrelated daemons. I’ve wasted way too much time hitting Ctrl+C and pipe-grepping my life away.

Use journalctl’s built-in priority filtering to instantly hide everything that isn’t a genuine problem. It’s the easiest way to cut through the chatter without losing your mind.
journalctl -u your-service-name.service -p 3 -f⚙️ Why It Works
Passing the priority flag set to 3 tells the journal to only show errors, alerts, and emerg messages, effectively muting the info-level spam that usually hides the actual breakage.
🚀 Pro-Tip: Swap that -p 3 for -p 4 if you want to keep an eye on warnings too.
