RPM Repositories for NGELinux ?

NGELinux will soon introduce a new way of handling packages.

We are planning to remove RPM dependency in future releases, a new package database is made to make it comfortable for all users to deal with packages.

It can be compared to Ubuntu Software Center with much more reliability than the DEB based system.

A new NGELinux database would be maintained and it would eliminate the requirement of creating RPMs for each and every package installing package from source.

Since the first release is CentOS RPM based, you can install the packages as in Redhat or Centos with YUM package manager or a sample RPM GUI available in system console.

The said feature will be available from next NGELinux release.

Or a patch would be provided for existing installations.
